I was reminded of a powerful lesson this week. There is simply no end when it comes to developing relationships. If you are in sales or marketing you simply cannot rely on your campaigns or your funnels. You can’t say there is a cap to your emails or your phone calls. Often times you can’t even state you have definitive sales cycle.
Perseverance, passion and commitment is what works. It’s the little things that matter. It’s going the extra mile and leaping mountains for what may seem to be an insignificant amount of business and developing that into a relationship that pays huge dividends.
I was reminded of this once again this week with a couple of new clients who have come on board. You have to think people not dollar signs. Be a people person first. The rest falls into place.
