I can't imagine that there would be few of us who have not had a squirrel run across the road while we are driving.  What is even worse is when they sit there in the road and start darting back and forth which puts you as the driver in an avoidance situation that typically winds up bad for the squirrel who has no idea which direction to run.  The end result is usually roadkill. Do You Need a Strategy to Say Hello?

Streamers and balloons are all gone after last week opening ceremony so here goes the real deal now. There are a lot of overused expressions out there and sometimes I wonder if the strategy can be thrown into the pile along with social media guru, put it on the back burner, just saying, cutting edge and many others.

Not there is anything wrong with the word itself but when it applies to how you use social media to me it's overused especially when it comes to conversation.  There are certain things in life that need a strategy  When it comes to social media there are some definite points that need a strategy otherwise you will crash and burn.  You have to go through the how, why, where, who and what scenarios.  I am not a proponent of just setting up social media accounts and then trying to trip along and figure out what to do along the way. Intro

My personal blog has been on the project list for many months now and I am so happy that it is finally ready to be launched.  It has been a very busy year as the Director of Marketing for The Training Factor, part of which involved consistently posting blogs on a regular basis. There are a couple of reasons why I wanted to launch this blog.  #1 I wanted to. Blogging for The Training Factor needed to be on very specific topics that were multifamily and apartment-related.  Of course, that is going to continue which leads to reason #2.  There are some other topics that are much more general that I have had on my mind for some time now and I wish to reach a much broader audience.  Blogging was something I never could have seen myself doing a couple of years ago but now it has turned into something I really enjoy doing.
