August 2011 was a whirlwind month of education for the Institute of Real Estate Management here in the state of Georgia. For three consecutive Fridays, I had the opportunity to conduct hands-on workshops. First, we started with LinkedIn, then we went to Facebook and last but not least Twitter. I want to give a special shout-out to Deborah Westphal and Maria Bailey who worked so hard to coordinate these events and make the students comfortable. Below are the presentations I used. For my students who attended this should serve as a good review as you implement these tools into your business model.
I can’t say enough the importance and benefits of actual workshops. Many times we attend seminars and can come away with very little. These workshops were designed so that the students would receive hands-on assistance and application. Enjoy!
